Ethiopian Cotton Throw

  • These Ethiopian Throws with Cotton Cream Pom Poms were made by artisans at Caring for Korah. Korah is an enormous trash dump in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia consumed with heartbreaking poverty. Beauty rises from the ashes at Caring for Korah where artisans spin and weave Ethiopian cotton as a dignified means to survive. The women who work to create these throws are a strong sisterhood, and a community who roots for each other and finds joy in the opportunity to create beautiful textiles as a means to provide their families food, housing, and education.
